Questions we answer before a farm brief

These are the points our engineers use. They are not a scheme manual and they are not an approval.

Is there a subsidy I can apply for?

No. As of 21 October 2026 the Centre has described agrivoltaics as the next step and is designing support. It is not notified. We do not take an application for it.

Can you still put solar on my dairy or cold store?

Yes, against the bill that business already pays. We survey, then price. Shade for the shed is a design choice, not a grant.

Will my crop grow underneath?

Only a layout and a crop that can live with the shade. Early research points to vegetables, horticulture, and flowers ahead of rice, wheat, and sugarcane. We do not promise a yield.

Is Chittoor the model?

It is someone else’s project in Andhra Pradesh. We do not copy its income line or its panel density.

Does my house subsidy cover the field?

No. Use the home subsidy page for a domestic connection.

Can I sell units to the DISCOM now?

Not on a new PM-KUSUM file. That window is closed, and Tamil Nadu’s installed Component A capacity is 3 MW. We wait for a notified tariff.

Who should come to the assessment?

The landholder, or the FPO or cooperative that can decide. One bill if you have one. WhatsApp it to 98846 04742, then book the visit.

Are you empanelled?

There is no panel for this yet. If a future scheme names a route, we check it before you pay.
